Man is different in amino acid sequences from other animals. Amino acid contains nitrogen (16%). It divides into two basic nutrients-sugars and fatty acids, & they doesn’t contain nitrogen. Amino acids are the chemical units that build blocks & make up proteins. Protein is composed of amino acids. Amino acids are the end products of hydrolysis or protein digestion. Proteins are chains of amino acids. Each individual type of protein is composed of a specific group of amino acids in a specific chemical arrangement. It is the particular amino acids present and the way in which they are linked together in sequence that gives the proteins that make up the various tissues their unique functions and characters. The body of living things requires amino acids in specific proportions
